MAKS 2013

August 27-September 1, 2013 – Moscow – Providence Group attended MAKS 2013, an International Aviation and Space Salon that is hosted every two years in the Zhukovsky airbase near Moscow. Providence Group was part of the largest Canadian delegation that ever attended MAKS and made significant contacts with the Russian aerospace elites, institutions and businesses.
 
Providence Group works closely with the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) and is its corporate member. As part of its portfolio, Providence Group offers its clients specialized representative services that include analysis, business development, marketing, lobbying, support and negotiations.
 
In addition to aerospace, Providence Group also is strong in a sphere of international education. At MAKS, numerous Russian universities, polytechnics and specialized schools were present that want to work together with the Canadian universities and institutions that transfer technology from labs to the market. According to President of Providence Group Volodymyr Paslavskyi: “Our strength lies in helping Canadian companies to conquer the Russian market through innovative technologies, and we help the Russian or Ukrainian companies to enter the Canadian market through cost-competitive products”.
 
In the Canadian pavilion during MAKS, Providence Group represented FED Corporation and worked together with AIAC in co-organizing together with FED Corporation, Kharkiv State Administration and AIAC’s counterpart, “AviaPromUkraine,” the International Aerospace Forum in Kharkiv, Ukraine that took place on August 31, 2013.
