Kharkiv – 31.08.2013 – Providence Group successfully participated in the Kharkiv’s Aerospace International Forum that was co-organized and co-hosted together with the Kharkiv State Administration, Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) and FED Corporation.

The Aerospace International Forum was organized with the intent of bringing Canadian and Ukrainian aerospace industries closer. As part of its program, the Forum provided opportunities for participants to exchange business ideas in the B2B format, and to tour the plant of FED Corporation and the Kharkiv Aerospace University (KhAU). The tour of KhAU coincided with the dedication ceremony for freshmen.  Mr. Jim Quick, president of AIAC, on behalf of the Canadian delegation, addressed freshmen students and reminded them that in the next 20 years the global aviation fleet will double in size and will require ever more qualified engineers and professionals in aerospace industries.

“Canada is the 5th largest aerospace market and was recognized by OSCE as #1 in its strategic importance to the global aerospace market, so the earlier Ukrainian aerospace companies and plants start cooperate with the Canadian companies the faster they can grow their businesses,” stated Taras Paslavskyi, Director of International Relations at Providence Group.
