V International Economic Forum in Kharkiv, Ukraine

Kharkiv – 06.09.2013 – Providence Group productively participated in the 5th International Economic Forum: “Innovations. Investments. Kharkiv Initiatives!” The Forum was co-organized by the Kharkiv State Administration, the Kharkiv City Council, the State Agency for Investment and National Projects in Ukraine together with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. 
 
The Forum was broken down into various panel discussions that focused on different topics dealing with local issues in the global context.
 
Providence Group was the only Canadian contributor in a panel of speakers on public-private partnerships (P3). Volodymyr Paslavskyi, President of Providence Group, made a presentation that outlined Canadian experienced with P3 projects. As an example of particular P3 projects, Providence Group used Abbotsford Hospital & Regional Cancer Centre in Vancouver, and explained how the authorities made it a public success. In the panel discussion, Mr. Paslavskyi also explained the “right and wrong” views about P3 projects.
