Providence Group at Pratt & Whitney and Bombardier production facilities and the Canadian Aerospace Summit 2013

October 15-18, 2013Providence Group, a Canadian consulting group that specializes in the business development, market entry, government and public relations, successfully participated in the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) Aerospace Summit 2013. Providence Group is a member of AIAC and currently advises FED Corporation how to enter the Canadian and American aerospace markets.

FED Corporation is a Ukrainian aviation leader that specializes in engine and flight control actuators and systems, APUs and “more electric” engines. Viktor Popov, Chairman of FED Corporation and Oleksandr Kononykhin, VP and Head of Technical Department of FED Corporation headed FED’s delegation.

As part of its portfolio, Providence Group arranged for the FED delegation to visit Pratt and Whitney Canada (PWC) in Mississauga (Plant #22) and Bombardier in Toronto (de Havilland plant) production facilities. Providence Group advised FED how to make their presentations in the western style in order to be effective. As a result, Mr. Popov made successful presentations to PWC and Bombardier’s engineers, experts and top executives about the latest FED’s innovations and production capabilities, which led to the agreement between FED Corporation and PWC to sign a non-disclosure agreement and pay a visit in the near future to FED's facility in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

According to Mr. Popov, “PWC is known around the word as an aviation engines builder. FED is known as a reliable designer and manufacturer of engine aggregates and engine control systems. We see many opportunities of collaboration with PWC in advanced engineering and outsourcing, especially when we consider FED’s price competitiveness on the world market.”

With Bombardier, the FED delegation discussed integration of FED Corporation into Bombardier’s global supply chain.

In Plant #22, PWC assembles PW300 engines and in de Havilland plant, Bombardier assembles Q400, Learjets and Global jets.

During the AIAC’s Aerospace Summit 2013, Ukraine received a special recognition and crowd ovation at the pivotal AIAC evening reception (http://aiac.ca/en/news.aspx?id=3022). This recognition represents Providence Group’s effectiveness as a lobbyist of private business interests and as a specialist in the market entry operations,” said president and CEO of Providence Group Volodymyr Paslavskyi.

During this event, Mr. Volodymyr Paslavskyi, the President and CEO of Providence Group, met and congratulated the Canadian Astronaut and Commander of the International Space Station, Col. Chris Hadfield and President of the Canadian Space Agency and former Chief of the Defence Staff of the Canadian Forces, General Walter Natynczyk, who invited Providence Group and the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the next year’s space forum in Toronto.

Providence Group worked with AIAC in organizing an exclusive and upscale business meeting for the FED's delegation with its Board of Directors, who represent the largest Canadian aerospace industries. Mr. Popov gave a brief overview of FED's company and underlined readiness of FED Corporation to integrate into the western aerospace business world.

Providence Group displayed FED's line of products at the Summit's exhibit booth and assisted FED in holding rounds of fruitful B2B meetings with potential customers.

Providence Group also arranged for the FED delegation a meeting with Mr. Vadym Prystaiko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Canada.
