Providence Group gets results at AIAC Aerospace Summit 2014

Toronto - 22 November 2014 - Providence Group attended the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) annual Aerospace Summit 2014 that took place in the new Congress Centre in Ottawa on November 18-19, 2014.

At the Summit, Providence Group represented FED Corporation, a Ukrainian aerospace company that specializes in engine and flight control actuators and systems, IDGs, APUs and “more electric” engines. FED Corporation was the only Ukrainian aerospace company at the Summit.

With the assistance of providence Group, FED Corporation held successful B2B meetings during the Summit. The meetings were held with Bombardier Aerospace, Pratt and Whitney Canada, Vikings Air LTD., Thales Canada, Lameco, National Research Council of Canada, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Canadian Trade Commissioner for Detroit, MI., and StandardAero.

"The most important outcome of all these B2B meetings was that FED Corporation agreed with Pratt and Whitney Canada to deepen their cooperation, which is a direct result of our work promoting FED Corporation in Canada," commented Volodymyr Paslavskyi, President of Providence Group, on signing this agreement.

However, the most important outcome of the whole Summit was the recognition of Ukraine and its delegation by AIAC in its statements and media-release, thereby honouring Ukraine among such aerospace countries as the U.S. and Brazil.

Following the Summit, FED Corporation held a meeting with Mr. Jim Quick, President and CEO of AIAC, on closer cooperation between Canadian Aerospace companies and FED Corporation.
