Component Test Benches
CEL designs and manufactures test equipment for engine systems and components, in addition to full engine test cells. The design of specialized test stands for gas turbine engine components requires a solid expertise in all areas of mechanical (structural, hydraulic) and electrical (instrumentation and controls) engineering. Combining all of our engineering and manufacturing resources, CEL has produced an impressive number of state-of-the-art custom and universal test stands for engine components. These test benches have been designed in accordance with engine manufacturer specifications, in particular from General Electric, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Rolls-Royce, Snecma and Turbomeca.

The CELDAS200™ features fast, automated data collection and processing from the test engine and is specifically designed for the aviation market. Accuracy, reliability, flexibility, fast data processing and reduced operator workload are the key principles at the core of the CELDAS200™ design.
Complementing the CELDAS200™ is the CEL Electronic Engine Control Panel designed to test engines with electronic control systems. The control panel provides an interface to control and measure parameters from the electronic engine control. The combination of computer controlled hardware with touch screen and embedded real-time software technology provides a test environment with optimum operator interaction and ease of testing.
